Bridge the Gap Walk - Participant Instructions

Welcome!  We are so glad you have chosen to participate in the Bridge the Gap Fundraising Walk.  The following instructions should help get you from today all the way through the event with success, safety, and support.

REGISTRATION

You can visit the Learning Bridge website https://lbeec.org/bridgethegap and register. When you register for this event, you will be asked to create a unique username and password, personal web link and personal fundraising goal. Just answer the questions as you move through the process.

PERSONAL FUNDRAISING PAGE

Upon completing your registration for The Bridge the Gap Fundraising Walk, you will see the following message: ‘Please click here to go to your personal fundraising page…” You can now create your personal webpage now.

This space will be exclusive to you. You can upload images and express why you are participating as well as your goals.  This personal pledge page includes: a personal pledge goal, a personal statement, and a picture/image. You will also be provided a personal web link to send to your friends, family, and other contacts.

SPREAD THE WORD!

Now it’s time to spread the word! Notify your family, friends, co-workers, and community that you’re participating in the Bridge the Gap Walk for Learning bridge. You can use social media to inform everyone that you’re dedicated to raising funds for early education. Include your fundraising page link in your social media postings, email it to friends and put it in your email signature.
